A. CALL TO ORDER – REGULAR MEETING
The Adelanto City Council held the Regular Meeting on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, via teleconference 1-415-655-0001 - conference code 146 275 0870 of the Governmental Center located at 11600 Air Expressway, Adelanto, California. Mayor Reyes called to order the regular closed session at 7:04 p.m.
Council Members present: Jeannette, Jones, Mayor Pro Tem Jones and Mayor Reyes.
Noted as absent: Mayor Pro Tem Ramos
Invocation: Council Member Jeannette
Flag Salute: Council Member Jones
B. DELETIONS / ADDITIONS TO AGENDA
Per City Manager staff is asking that Item #K3 be brought back to a future date. He also requested item #F1 be handled under the City Managers announcements and report.
C. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
MOTION: Moved by Mayor Reyes, seconded by Council Member Jones to approve the agenda as presented with item #K3 being brought back to a future date and item #F1 being handled under the City Managers announcements and report.
Motion carried 4-1 (Jeannette, Jones, Mayor Pro Tem Ramos and Mayor Reyes voting yes, Mayor Pro Tem Ramos noted as absent).
D. CITY MANAGERS ANNOUNCEMENTS AND REPORT
City Manager Flores gave an update on various projects. He spoke about the water issues within the city and the progress that has been made. He spoke about a dog that was rescued, treated, and placed at the shelter to be cared for.
