A. CALL TO ORDER – SPECIAL MEETING
The Adelanto City Council held the Regular Meeting on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, via teleconference 1-415-655-0001 - conference code 146 275 0870 of the Governmental Center located at 11600 Air Expressway, Adelanto, California. Mayor Reyes called to order the regular closed session at 11:00 a.m.
Council Members present: Evans, Jeannette, Jones, and Mayor Reyes.
Absent: Mayor Pro Tem Ramos
Invocation: Council Member Jeannette
Flag Salute: Council Member Jones
B. PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS
Mayor Reyes opened public comment at 11:01 a.m.
Mayor Reyes closed public comment at 11:02 a.m.
C. CONSENT CALENDAR
MOTION APPROVING THE CONSENT CALENDAR AS PRESENTED
MOTION: Moved by Council Member Jeannette seconded by Mayor Reyes to approve the consent calendar as presented with pulling item #2 and #3 for discussion by Council Member Evans and Jeannette.
1. Waiver of Full Reading of Ordinances. Proposed action to waive full reading (except title) of all ordinances appearing on this City Council agenda as authorized by Government Code Section 36934, unless otherwise directed by the City Council. 67 City Council Minutes

2 2. Acceptance of Final Parcel Map 20292.
3. Award of contract for the White Avenue, Jonathan Street & Chamberlaine Way Reconstruction project to Hardy and Harper Inc in the Amount of $904,000.00, plus contingency spending to complete the project.

Mayor Pro Tem Ramos: Absent
Mayor Reyes: Yes
Motion carried 4-1 (Evans, Jeannette, Jones, and Mayor Reyes voting yes, Mayor Pro Tem Ramos noted as absent).
City Manager Flores noted there is a correction to the staff report for item #2. She explained it is still a manufacturing zone and that is the correction being made.
Moved by Mayor Reyes seconded by Council Member Jeannette to approve item #2 on the consent calendar.
Motion carried 4-1 (Evans, Jeannette, Jones, and Mayor Reyes voting yes, Mayor Pro Tem Ramos noted as absent).
Council Member Evans had questions regarding the grant money for Jonathan being used for White Avenue if it was approved to be utilized for the different street. Saava explained that there was approval.
Moved by Mayor Reyes seconded by Council Member Jeannette to approve item #3 on the consent calendar.
