Section 3. Membership on the Youth Advisory Council shall be for residents of Adelanto ages fourteen (14) through eighteen (18) years old in grades nine (9) through twelve (12) in an approved education program for high school students.
Section 4. Meetings are to be held on the second Thursday of the month at 4:00 p.m., or at a time and date as set by the Recreation Department, at a location set by the City’s Recreation Department, and with meetings administered by a member of the Adelanto City Council if possible. The City Council and City staff may place items on the Youth Advisor Council’s meeting agendas.
Section 5. Program membership, guidelines, participation, positions, officers, committees, responsibilities, and format shall be approved by the City’s Recreation Department.
Section 6. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all things necessary to implement this resolution.
