The City Council of the City of Alameda will consider the action described below at or after 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday , June 7, 2022. All interested parties are invited to watch and participate in the public meeting to comment on the proposed project. Pursuant to Assembly Bill 361, codified at Government Code Section 54953, Planning Board members can attend the meeting via teleco nference. The City will allow public participation via Zoom, for information please see the agenda at https://www.alamedaca.gov/GOVERNMENT/Agendas-Minutes-Announcements under Upcoming City Council Agenda. City Hall will NOT be open to the public during the meeting. Comments may be submitted as set forth below.
DESCRIPTION OF ACTION:

ummarily Vacate an Excess Portion of Everett Street Approximately 116- feet Northeasterly of Blanding Street in the City of Alameda, under State Streets and Highways Code, Sections 8330, et seq. This action will allow the City to extinguish the dedication for public use of the roadway (approximately 906 square feet) while retaining needed utility easements.

he vacation of the strip of right -of-way is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as a minor alteration in land use limitations (CCR 15305).
