Subject: [EXTERNAL] City Council Agenda Item - License Plate Readers for Police Vehicles

Dear Ms. Ott-

I am writing to request that in the event that the following agenda item for tomorrow night's City Council session is not heard due to its late position in the agenda, that it be formally placed in the agenda in an earlier position by you at the earliest possible future date.

10-A 2023-2810 11 Consider Directing Staff to Proceed with the Purchase of License Plate Readers for Vehicles, Concurrently with the Implementation of Fixed License Plate Readers. (Councilmember Herrera Spencer) [Not heard on February 21, March 7 or 21, 2023]

There is support in the community for this matter, however it repeatedly has been omitted from discussion due to the length of recent meetings.

Thank you.

Rob Halford
