 It is a great help. I try to take AC Transit during the day to Kaiser Permanente and to Bart when I go to the symphony, ballet and opera, however taking AC Transit in the evenings is risky. Not dependable.  I am so grateful for the free pass. It makes my life so much better. I am able to get out more and not worry about the money on my pass.
 Alameda free bus card helps me to be able to travel in town and improved my quality of life  So grateful to have this free bus pass I am dependent on public transportation & it is a life saver Thank you for your generosity.

 I honestly do appreciate the free bus pass but I do understand why some people prefer using private transportation because people occasionally make bus riding unpleasant by behaving badly. Playing loud music, putting their feet on the seats, screaming into cell phones...things like that.  Works effortlessly.

 As a disabled senior I'm on a fix income. Not having to purchase the monthly $34 bus pass means I can use it for other essentials.
 The Free AC Transit Bus Pass is very ideal for Seniors. It makes planning my schedule easy since I don't have to worry how much money is on my senior clipper card. I am very grateful for this arrangement.  The Free Bus pass has enhanced the quality of my life. I have become totally dependent on my bus pass.  I am looking at giving up driving at some point and having the pass helps me to use buses and learn about how to get around on them.
 Easy for elderly like me living alone
 I enjoy the freedom to get out, go shop and see other areas of the Bay Area. The buses are clean and the drivers are very helpful with directions.
 It is such a big help for us being on a very low income and needing frequent bus transport. Thank you so much.  It has allowed me to travel. Otherwise I wouldn’t be able to afford transportation as an expense.  The program has allowed me to lead an independent life. I love it!  AC Transit helps save money that would be spent on meter parking or having to park in parking garage. Safe transportation for elders who cannot drive.

 I don’t want to drive my car if I can avoid it and I love the options the bus gives me. I’m grateful for my free pass because it helps to give me options as I look to moving away from driving.  I appreciate the service very much and thank you for providing it.  The free bus pass is important to me. I am on a fixed income and using the pass has improved my quality of life. I tell others about this valuable service.

 With inflation I am able to save some money.
 It makes me feel happy to be a senior on fixed income.  Appreciate that there is no fee. I don’t think any more if I can afford it when I get on a bus.  Thank you! In these times of high inflation, I am able to $ave $$$ on transportation and buy more food.  It is a great help. Not dependable.  The bus pass is really helpful getting around without worrying about money.  It has made it possible for me to be more active as I don't drive  I like the bus pass. It is helpful and easy to use.
 It allows me to move about the community as needed. However, Travel time can be long when connecting buses are not coordinated.
 I am grateful for the bus pass. It is really helpful when I don't have a lot of money.  Since I use the Free Pass every day, it is very convenient for me to go to places that I used to go to. This program of Alameda is very good for the people living in Alameda, especially the seniors who have financial difficulties. I love living in Alameda and I thank the government officials for this great and wonderful program that they made! Ms. Kat has been so helpful since I don’t speak much English.
 Before getting the pass, I was on foot. It has been a gift from heaven! A real-life saver!  Because I have the Free Bus Pass, I take/use the bus more often. I don't have to worry if I have enough money on my senior clipper care - so much easier. I just wo with no fuss.  It has been very helpful.  Convenient for getting me to my appointments to Kaiser Alameda and Kaiser Oakland. Also, easy to get to my dental appointments in Southshore and to my son’s house.

As for my current financial conditions, I don't own a car, so I have difficulties getting around for shopping, doctor appointments, and other social activities. Many times, I have to ask/depend on relatives who own a car to drive me. With this Free AC Transit bus pass, I can get to my appointments and complete my tasks freely without asking for help from relatives. This makes me feel great!  Superb
 love it. It improves my quality of life. Help me to contribute to reduction of carbon foot print. Allows me and my friends to easily travel together on the bus, go outings, and supporting local businesses.  Thanks very much it helps me with cost.

 This free bus pass has been extremely beneficial because I live alone & no one to drive me anywhere  A Godsend... For me as a military veteran living in Alameda CA, who increasingly attends San Francisco VA medical appointments, the Bus Pass feature along with the aid of MUNI has proven miraculous.  it allows me to put money that would be spent on a monthly sticker to use elsewhere such as bills and food.
