AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2023 -24 OPERATING AND
SCAPITAL BUDGET BY REDUCING REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE
APROPRIATIONS IN CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT C31000
(301) BY $205,436 AND INCREASING REVENUE AND
EXPENDITURE APPROPRIATIONS IN VEHICLE REPLACEMENT
FUND (601) BY $205,436 TO FUND THE PURCHASE OF ONE TRUCK
MOUNTED LEAF VACUUM
WHEREAS, Stormwater Funds were appropriated in the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023-24 Capital Budget approved by City Council on February 20, 2024; and
WHEREAS, on May 21, 2024, the City Council approved purchase of a truck mounted leaf vacuum to replace the existing equipment given the operational efficiencies; and
WHEREAS, the truck mounted leaf vacuum costs more than the $36,000 deposited from the Stormwater Fund into the Vehicle Replacement Fund as part of the depreciation schedule for the trailer mounted equipment.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Finance Director is hereby authorized to a mend the FY 2023 -25 Biennial Budget by reducing revenue and expenditures in Capital Improvement Fund Project C3100 by $205,436 and increasing revenue and expenditures in the Fleet Replacement Fund (601) budget in FY 2023-24 by $205,436.
