Thank you for your service to our Island community of Alameda. Thank you also for your wisdom, foresight and concern about the real threats of rising seas and increased flooding now and in our future. With your continued support for addressing solutions to our climate vulnerabilities, we can protect our homes and businesses and ensure our community's resiliency.
Please support Agenda Item #5: the resolution to apply for for Alameda County Transportation Commission Funding and Commit Any Needed Matching Funds for: 1) Doolittle Drive/State Route 61 and Bay Farm Island Project; 2) Oakland Alameda Water Shuttle Operations; 3) Neighborhood Greenway Crossings Safety and Connectivity Improvements Project; and 4) Willie Stargell Ave Safety and Transit Improvements Project.
The funding for all of these critical projects will support the continued design and implementation of our resiliency projects.
