BOARD LIAISON APPOINTMENTS
Existing Structure (with 2 Board representatives):
• Ward Liaison for Primary City + One Liaison from a
neighboring Ward with connecting service
• Utilize the one remaining at-large director through the end of 2026 to fill in any gaps.
• This is also an interim solution if consolidation effort moves forward.
Implement ILC Consolidation (with 2 Board representatives):
• Each body under the consolidated plan will have at least two Directors based on existing configuration of the wards under the 7-ward election system (Oakland/Alameda/
Piedmont will have 3)
• Eliminate redundancy with WCCTC and use that body for transit policy and project discussions.
