Dear Mayor and Council members,
I have no problem with designated electric vehicle parking places in public garages or parking lots depending on the ratio to nonregulated spots. If you are considering designated parking spots in residential neighborhoods, I am patently against that.
With the daylighting of intersections there is already a real shortage of on-street parking spots in areas with multiple residential units. I am concerned that the women tenants would end up having to walk longer distances at night just to find a parking space. I’d appreciate it if you take this into consideration when making this decision.
