Dear Alameda City Council,
Please use due diligence when considering rate increases for aquatic users. Frequent and/or excessive rate increases significantly impact users, many of whom are just looking for a nice exercise option in a public facility. As a new Alameda Aquatic Masters swimmer I have enjoyed rediscovering not only the health benefits of swimming but the social community as well, and hope the program can continue to grow and thrive with responsible and equitable pool usage fees.
