From: Cathy Leong
To: Marilyn Ezzy Ashcraft; Tony Daysog; Tracy Jensen; Michele Pryor; Greg Boller; Lara Weisiger Subject: [EXTERNAL] VOTE YES on Daysog"s Referral and STOP CHANGING Mecartney Date: Tuesday, January 20, 2026 4:04:17 PM
Please use your common sense and vote YES for the "Daysog Referral" to place the Mecartney Rd project on a future Agenda for full disclosure and public input! Why?

1. As I understand, Public Works told the HBIA Master Board about the proposed project and the Master Board objected sending a strong Resolution to the City/Public Works opposing the project. City/Public Works apparently ignored the HBIA Board Resolution although this Board represents almost 3,000 homes and estimated 9,000 residents, many of us who use Mecartney Rd.

2. As told, Public Works declined to bring this project before the City Council although all other major Alameda Streets have gone before Council for disclosure, authorization, and feed back from the public,

3.Additionally, Public Works failed to notify the Public as they are supposed to notify them in writing - we've not heard a peep.

This is our home, our community, where we live, you must take into consideration with common sense what is best for us, your constituents, not what some uninformed people tell you you should do.

Please do not deprive us of our democratic rights to voice our opinions and concerns to you, our elected representatives.

Please let us know the outcome, we deserve to be informed.

Concerned resident since 1986
Cathy (Catherine) Leong
