1 Call to Order/General Introduction
The meeting was convened at 4:00 p.m.
Present:
• Heather Little, Board of Education (Alameda Unified School District (AUSD)) • Jennifer Williams, Board of Education (AUSD)
• Tony Daysog, City Council (City)
• Greg Boller, City Council (City) [Note: Councilmember Boller arrived at 4:02 p.m.]
2. Minutes of the February 26, 2025 City/School Subcommittee Meeting
The minutes were addressed and it was noted that a vote is not required to approve the minutes.
3. Oral Communication Non-Agenda (Public Comment)
There were no public comments.
4. City/School District Issues
4-A. Update on Wood Middle School Project
4-B Update on Emma Hood Swim Center and Tennis Courts Project
AUSD Staff gave a Power Point presentation addressing both 4-A and 4-B and the matters were briefly discussed.
4-C Update on Clement/Tilden Roundabout Project
City Staff gave a Power Point presentation and the matter was discussed.
4-D Discussion of Bay Farm Wooden Bike Bridge
City staff gave a Power Point presentation and the matter was briefly discussed.
4-E AUSD Request Process for Alameda Police Department Reports
City staff provided information about the request process and prioritizing AUSD requests and the matter was discussed; AUSD was invited to reach out to City staff directly if there are ever questions.
