AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026 BUDGET BY REDUCING REVENUE AND APPROPRIATIONS IN CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM C65200 BY $185,000, APPROPRIATING $115,000 FROM FUND 305, TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEE (DIF) TO INCREASE REVENUE AND APPROPRIATIONS FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM C65600 BY $300,000 FOR THE CENTRAL AVENUE SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT WHEREAS, on June 18, 2024, the City Council of the City of Alameda approved Resolution 16173 adopting the Fiscal Years (FY) 2024-25 Operating and Capital Budget; and WHEREAS, on September 17, 2024, the City Council of the City of Alameda approved Resolution 16315 increasing revenue and appropriates for Capital Improvement Program (CIP) C65600 by $1,507,855; and WHEREAS, to construct the Central Avenue Safety Improvements Project additional funds are needed in the Central Ave Safety Improvements CIP C65600; and WHEREAS, City staff proposes to reallocate $185,000 from CIP C65200, Clement Avenue Safety Improvements to CIP C65600; and WHEREAS, Fund 305, Transportation DIF has a fund balance of approximately $361,000, of which $115,000 is available; and WHEREAS, City staff also proposes to transfer $115,000 from Fund 305 to Fund 310 for appropriation to Central Ave Safety Improvements CIP C65600.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Alameda hereby amends the FY 2025-26 Capital Budget by reappropriating $185,000 from CIP C65200 to C65600, transferring $115,000 from Fund 305, Transportation DIF, to Fund 310, Capital Fund, and increasing the expenditure budget for CIP 65600 by $300,000. *******
