Action: This case involves a worker’s compensation claim for cancer filed by Sean Gillion, a former employee of the Fire Department who served approximately 26 years with the City. Mr. Gillion passed away shortly after filing his claim. The Council has authorized the City Attorney to settle Mr. Gillion’s claim in an amount not to exceed $200,000.
