Dear City Council,
I am writing on behalf of California Housing Defense Fund to support the City's adoption of a compliant accessory dwelling unit ordinance. We previously submitted comments to the Planning Commision outlining concerns with the first draft of the ordinance. The proposed changes to the ordinance address all of our concerns, and we support adoption with these changes.
Furthermore, we applaud the City for adopting the condo conversion provisions to provide a new pathway to homeownership.
