CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. _______
AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2026-27 CAPITAL BUDGET TO APPROPRIATE $289,000 IN GRANT FUNDS TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM C66300 (EV CHARGING) WHEREAS, on June 2, 2026, the City Council did adopt a budget representing the financial plan for conducting the affairs of the City of Alameda for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2027; and WHEREAS, the City of Alameda applied to and was awarded a Transportation Fund for Clean Air (TFCA) grant for $289,000 administered by the Alameda County Transportation Commission (ACTC) for the Alameda Public EV Charging Project; and WHEREAS, there is need to amend the Fiscal Year 2026-27 construction improvement fund (C66300) revenue and expenditure budgets to accept the grant and appropriate the funds; and WHEREAS, the City of Alameda wishes to delegate the authority to execute the Alameda County Transportation Commission grant agreements and any amendments thereto to the City Manager or his designee; and
WHEREAS, the Council has considered the report and recommendations of the City Manager on the budget amendments and has determined that the budget amendments are both fair and appropriate; and
WHEREAS, this budget ensures that the City of Alameda has exercised prudent judgment in its fiduciary responsibility as guardian of the public tax dollars.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda amends the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Capital Budget by appropriating $289,000 in Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda CTC) grant funds to Capital Improvement Program C66300 (Public EV Charging). *****
