taff Recommendation: That the Committee discuss potential inclusion of a values statement in the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Investing Implementation Policy and forward to the full City Council for discussion and consideration

inance Director Schwartz presented a draft values statement to add to the City of Albany Investment Policy for the Committee to review per City Council direction.

2 Council Member Jordan motioned to recommend updating the City’s Investment Policy with the inclusion of a values statement (revising the Sustainable and ESG Investing section of the Policy) for City Council’s adoption and authorized staff to make appropriate updates if needed for Council’s review.

taff Recommendation: That the Audit & Fiscal Sustainability (AFS) City Council Standing Committee receive the report and forward to the full City Council for review. No actions are requested.

irector Schwartz presented the preliminary year -end budget review for Fiscal Year 2024/25. She also announced that the City of Albany received the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) A ward for Excellence in Financial Reporting for Fiscal Year 2023/24.
