ROLL CALL: At 5:11 p.m., on Monday, August 26, 2024, the Alhambra City Council met in Council Chambers of the Alhambra City Hall.
PRESENT: LEE, MALONEY , ANDRADE-STADLER
ABSENT: MAZA , PÉREZ

CITY CLERK REPORT - NOTICE NO. N2M 2 4- 105
The City Clerk hereby report ed that she duly gave notice of the special meeting of the City Council being held this evening pursuant to the order of the Mayor and in accordance with Section 54956 of the Government Code of the State of California.
CLOSED SESSION & CITY ATTORNEY ANNOUNCEMENT re SAME - F2M2 4 -14 City Attorney MONTES identified those items listed on this evening ’s agenda which would be discussed in Closed Session as follows:
Conference with Real Property Negotiator (Govt. Code Section 54956.8):
Property: Approximately 0.42 acres located on Second Street, South of Main Street and immediately north of an AT&T building, currently used as a public parking lot under the Assessor Parcel Number (APN) 5344-026-915 - Negotiating parties: City Manager and American Family Housing, a California nonprofit public benefit corporation. Under Negotiation: Instruction to negotiators will concern price, terms of payment or both.
Conference with Legal Counsel - Existing Litigation (Govt. Code Section 54956.9(d)(1)): Worker ’s Compensation Claim Nos.: 23016752, 11145110001; WCAB Nos. ADJ10014797 ; ADJ10014796 ; ADJ11441356 ; and , COAL-5179 – Denise Fernandez
Conference with City ’s Labor Negotiator (Govt. Code Section 54957.6):
Mariam Ko, Director of Human Resources re: Alhambra Fire Fighters ’ Association . whereupon at 5:12 p.m. the City Council moved into closed session pursuant to applicable law, including the Brown Act (Government Code Sec. 54950, et seq.) for the purpose of conferring with the City Attorney.
PÉREZ: Mayor PÉREZ entered closed session at 5:1 5 p.m. 2 8-26-24
MAZA : Councilmember MAZA entered closed session at 5:24 p.m.
RECONVENE & CITY ATTORNEY REPORT : At 6:25 p.m. the City Council moved out of closed s ession with all members present.
ADJOURNMENT: At 6: 25 p.m. there being no further business for the Council to transact, the Mayor, with the consent of the City Council, adjourn ed the meeting .
