ROLL CALL: At 5:0 2 p.m., on Monday, May 12 , 2025, the Alhambra City Council met in Cou ncil Chambers of the Alhambra City Hall.
PRESENT: MALONEY, WANG, ANDRADE-STADLER , LEE
ABSENT: MAZA
Officials Present : City Manager Binnquist, Assistant City Manager Garcia, Deputy City Manager Hembree, City Attorney Montes
CITY CLERK REPORT - NOTICE NO. N2M 2 5- 56
Deputy City Manage r, on behalf of the C ity Clerk, report ed that the City Clerk duly gave notice of the special meeting of the City Council being held this evening pursuant to the order of the Mayor and in accordance with Section 54956 of the Gove rnment Code of the State of California.
CLOSED SESSION & CITY ATTORNEY ANNOUNCEMENT re SAME - F2M2 5 -14 City Attorney MONTES identified those items listed on this evening ’s agenda which would be discussed in Closed Session as follows:
Conference with Leg al Counsel - Existing Litigation (Govt. Code Section 54956.9(d)(1)): Maria Vargas v. City of Alhambra, Carl Warren File No. 3037316, LASC Case No. 24NWCV01768 ; and, Patricia Fonseca v. City of Alhambra, Carl Warren File No. 3044809, LASC Case No. 23AHCV008 65
whereupon at 5:05 p.m. the City Council moved into closed session pursuant to applicable law, including the Brown Act (Government Code Sec. 54950, et seq.) for the purpose of conferring with the City Attorney.
MAZA : Councilmember MAZA entered Closed Session at 5:09 p.m.
RECONVENE & CITY ATTORNEY REPORT: At 6:06 p.m. the City Council moved out of closed session with all members present.
ADJOURNMENT: At 6:06 p.m. there being no further business for the Council to transact, the Mayor, with the cons ent of the City Council, adjourned the meeting.
