City Council conducted this meeting in accordance with California Government Code Section 54953(e)(2) and COVID-19 pandemic protocols.
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Chun called the Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Aliso Viejo to order 6:05 p.m.

STUDY SESSION:
BICYCLE TRACKS OVERVIEW
City Manager David Doyle introduced Public Works Director Shaun Pelletier. Mr.
Pelletier provided a brief overview and introduced Carlos Ortiz (ADVANTEC Consulting Engineers, Inc.) who provided additional information on bicycle facilities and cycle tracks. Staff and consultant responded to questions regarding e-bikes, line of sight concerns, striping treatment options, bicycle counts, vehicle speed limits, grant funding, cycling deterrents, and pop-up bike lanes. Councilmembers commented on the matter.
