CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Ackley called the Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Aliso Viejo to order at 7:01 p.m.

1. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS:
STATE OF THE CITY PRESENTATION TITLED " YOUR CITY, YOUR VOICE: AN EVENING OF COMMUNITY CONVERSATION"
Renee Bodie, Soka Performing Arts Center General Manager, welcomed those in attendance and provided information on the Performing Arts Center.
Duane Cave, Moulton Niguel Water District President, provided opening remarks and served as Master of Ceremonies for the remainder of the meeting.
Laurie Johnson of Orange County Realtors led the pledge of allegiance.
Mr. Cave introduced the elected officials in attendance and acknowledged the event sponsors.
Special Meeting Minutes
Mayor Ackley provided an overview of the City, including City Council changes, safety, recreation programs, and strategic planning.
City Manager Mitzi Ortiz provided updates on Aliso Viejo Town Center and The Commons at Aliso Viejo Town Center.
Community Development Director So Kim provided updates on residential development projects.
Public Works Director Shaun Pelletier provided an overview of the City' s infrastructure and Capital Improvement Program projects.
Chief of Police Services Captain Ryan Buhr provided a department overview.
Senior Fire Inspector Jonathan Lim provided fire prevention information.
A question and answer period followed the presentations.
Recommended Action: Receive the Mayor' s State of the City address, as presented by the Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce.
No further action was taken.
ADJOURNMENT: Mayor Ackley adjourned the meeting at 8:00 p.m.
