City Hall Council Chambers
April 5, 2023 at 3:00 p.m.
Alturas City Council Mayor Brian Cox called the special meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. at the City Council Chambers. Councilmembers present: Cheryl Nelson, Paul Minchella, Samantha Wood, Kelly Crosby and Brian Cox. Councilmembers absent: None. Staff present: City Clerk Macey Binning, City Treasurer Dorothy Long, Director of Public Works Joe Picotte and City Attorney Jeff Hedlund. Public attending:
None. All present joined together in the Pledge of Allegiance.
At 3:00 p.m., Mayor Cox announced the Council would be meeting in closed session under G.C. Section 54957 – Public Employee Discipline/Dismissal/Release
Reconvened back to open session at 3:03 p.m.
No action was taken. The City Council accepted the Director of Public Works letter of resignation.
With no further business to come before City Council. MOTION by Councilmember Crosby to adjourn the meeting at 3:05 p.m. and to return in regular session on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., City Hall.
SECONDED by Councilmember Nelson. ALL AYES.
