4. CONSENT AGENDA: It is recommended that items _a_ through _d_ be acted on simultaneously unless separate action is requested by Council or Staff:
a.) Approve minutes of April 15, 2025 meeting.
b.) Approve City Warrants for April 2025 in the amount of $272,235.78. c.) Approve ACH reconciliation report for April 2025 in the amount of $134,385.16. d.) Adopt Resolution #2025-13 removing inactive water & sewer accounts from April in the amount of $152.06.
5. Discussion/action: Modoc High School requests permission to keep 15-20 chickens on school property for Alturas FFA program.
6. Discussion/action: Approve mileage for SCED meeting May 15, 2025 in Redding, CA. (Councilmember Knighton)
7. Discussion/action: Approval to attend the CA League of Cities Conference in Long Beach, CA October 8-10, 2025. (Councilmember Cox)
8. Discussion/action: Requesting approval of Resolution #2025-14 approving the Memorandum of Understanding between the United Public Employees of California Local 792 Alturas Safety Unit and the City of Alturas. (Safety Unit Labor Negotiation Committee)
9. Discussion/action: Adopt Resolution #2025-15 approving the third amended budget for the 2024/2025 Fiscal Year Budget in the amount of $11,233,561.00. (Treasurer Long)
10. PUBLIC HEARING: The Alturas City Council will consider the second reading of Ordinance #532 officially designating the Fire Hazard Severity Zones as recommended by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection in accordance with Government Code Section 51178.
11. Discussion/action: Requesting approval of the first reading of Ordinance #532 officially designating the Fire Hazard Severity Zones as recommended by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection in accordance with Government Code Section 51178. (Fire Chief Lloyd)
12. Discussion/action: Rescind Resolution #2023-34 and terminate the contract with Melton Design Group Incorporated. (Director of Public Works Farnam)
13. Discussion/action: Request to purchase used road equipment with Local Transportation Funds not exceeding $200,000. (Director of Public Works Farnam)
14. Discussion/action: Request approval of family pool passes for full-time City employees for the 2025 season. (Director of Public Works Farnam)
15. Discussion/action: Request Public Works Director to sign supplemental service agreements 3 and 4 with Brandley Engineering Inc. for the Precision Approach Pathway Indicator (PAPI) Airport Project. (Director of Public Works Farnam)
16. Discussion/action: Request to advertise an RFP for replacing two roofs on City building in Fiscal Year 2025-2026. (Director of Public Works Farnam)
