RESOLUTION NO. 597
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMADOR CIty, CALIFORNIA,APPROVING SALARY INCREASES FOR CITY EMPLOYEES:
WASTEWATER TREATMENT OPERATOR, CITY CLERK, MAINTENANCE
WORKER
WHEREAS, Amador City employs Greg Wood as its Wastewater Treatment Operator, Joyce Davidson as its City Clerk, and Ian Davidson as its Maintenance Worker; and WHEREAS, each of these three employees have not had a salary increase for five years or longer; and
WHEREAS, the cost of living has increased approximately 16% over the past five years; and WHEREAS, the 2021-2022 budget, approved in July of 2021, anticipated salary increases for these City employees.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AMADOR CITY, CALIFORNIA,DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The salary for Greg Wood, Wastewater Treatment Operator, will increase from $1200 to $1400 per month retroactive to January 1, 2022.
Section 2. The salary for Joyce Davidson, City Clerk, will increase from $1,135 to $1,245 per month retroactive to January 1, 2022.
Section 3. The salary for Ian Davidson, Maintenance Worker, will increase from $700 to $879 per moth retroactive to January 1, 2022.
The City Clerk shall certify the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
