Subject: FW: statewide letter to city council members April 2022 [External Email - Use Caution]
Hi Chief,
Thanks for meeting with me this morning. I am glad we had an opportunity to discuss both sides of the AB 481 issue.
I sent a link (see below) to the mayor, vice-mayor, and city council members which contains a series of recommendations for them to use as a guideline if/when the ordinance is adopted.
In that event, it will be their job to follow up with you; so I wanted you to have this as well.
It is unfortunate to find ourselves in times such as these. “Calling in the big guns” seems to be the direction our country is going. I hope we will be able to slow that down and turn it around through community outreach, and the good old fashioned values that made this country great.
Your daughters and future grandchildren are counting on us! Thanks again for your commitment to our community.
Sincerely,
Karen Brorby

Subject: FW: statewide letter to city council members April 2022 Dear Mayor, vice-mayor and council members,
I have been burning some midnight oil on AB481.
I request that if you haven’t already seen the document below, that you take a moment to review it.
It makes some very sensible recommendations in my view.
Much appreciated,
Karen
