Hi Public Works, Manager and members of Council,
Saturday afternoon there was a small fire on the upper side of the Montevino Easement. 2 ACFD engines were at site putting out the fire that I was told was on the Solano side. I'm so appreciative of ACFD for always being ready and able to take care of emergencies. The main reason I'm writing is to let you know of the amazing work Public Works Staff Felix Hernandez and his crew did; they had just cleared the 5'+ weeds of that Easement a couple of weeks ago, it was a hard task. They did a great job clearing all the weeds, had they not done so, we would have had a totally worse outcome. Saturday was windy and dry.
I want to thank Public Works and ACFD for all you do and for keeping our neighborhood safe! --
