Please allow me to express my outrage at the cheap shot taken at the only woman on the City Council and the backstabbing attempt to remove her from LAFCO because she is a mother. How many fathers are on the Council? Are they punished for having children and accused of not being able to do a good job outside the home and be a good father as well. As the mother of four children, I can school all of you on how efficient mothers are of multi-tasking. To imply otherwise by other mothers is appalling, and it was clear that this butcher job was planned beforehand.
By removing Ms. Aboudamous from a committee she has been serving on because (1) she is a mother and (2) a bully is showing his true stripes would show this community that women have little value. Ms. Aboudamous is extremely well educated, has invested many hours in working with LAFCO, and should not be forced out. The implication that being a mother is grounds for removal not only smells rotten but just may be a legal matter.
