The City Council meeting was called to order at 6:64 p.m.

1. Declaration of the Result of the General Municipal Election of November 5, 2024 Action: Motion to approve the Resolution 2024-90 accepting the election results of the November 5, 2024 General Municipal Election made my Councilmember Mark Joseph, seconded by Councilmember Pierre Washington, and CARRIED by roll call vote.

The City Council meeting was adjourned by Mayor Garcia.

2. Oath of Office for New Mayor and Councilmembers
City Clerk Taresa Geilfuss administered Oaths of Office to Mayor Pierre Washington, Councilmember Melissa Lamattina and Councilmember Brando Cruz.

Ordinance Modifying Certain Compensation Provisions for the Members of the City Council Council received an Ordinance Modifying Certain Compensation Provisions for the Members of the City Council staff report from City Attorney William Ross. Mayor Washington opened the public hearing and called for public comments. Written comments: none. Oral comments: Joan Bennett was called to speak; Beth Marcus was called to speak. Public comments and the public hearing were closed.
Action: Motion to adopt Ordinance 2024-09 postponing the start date of increases to the monthly salary of City Council Members, and removing compensation provided to City Council Members when agenda items include matters related to the former American Canyon County Water District ("Water District") made by Vice Mayor David Oro,seconded by Councilmember Brando Cruz, and CARRIED by roll call vote.

Action: Motion to adopt Minute Order 2024-13 approving the Standard Proclamation List for Calendar Year 2025 as amended to include a Meet Me in the Streets proclamation each June and changing the name of the Philippine American Heritage Month proclamation to Philippine American History Month made by Vice Mayor Mark Joseph, seconded by Councilmember Melissa Lamattina, and CARRIED by roll call vote.
