CALL TO ORDER
The Special City Council meeting for Planning Commission interviews was called to order at 6:05 p.m.

BUSINESS
1. Planning Commission Interviews
City Council conducted interviews of 7 applicants and selected 3 candidates to serve on the Planning Commission.
Action: Motion to adopt Minute Order 2025-01 appointing to the Planning Commission: Marilyn Abelon to a 4-year term, Shelby Goss to 4-year term, Charles Plummer to a 2-year term made by Councilmember David Oro, seconded by Vice Mayor Mark Joseph, and CARRIED by roll call vote.

2. Appointment Process for Remaining Commission Vacancies City Council discussed the process for interviewing and appointing members to the remaining two commissions.
Action: Motion to interview both the Parks and Community Services and Open Space, Active Transportation and Sustainability Commission members on January 29, 2025, and directing City Clerk Taresa Geilfuss to prepare a schedule made by Councilmember David Oro, seconded by Councilmember Melissa Lamattina, and CARRIED by roll call vote.
