1. Facility Naming
Council received a Facility Naming staff report from Parks & Recreation Director Alexandra Ikeda. Mayor Washington opened public comments. Written comments: none.
Oral comments: Nance Matson was called to speak; Fran Lemos was called to speak; Tara McClinton-Horner was called to speak. The public comment period was closed.
Action: Motion to add to the July 15, 2025 City Council agenda a consent item to consent the following names: Mikolajcik Center for the former Napa Junction Elementary School; Rio Grande Park for Community Park I; and Independence Park for Community Park II made by Councilmember David Oro,seconded by Councilmember Melissa Lamattina, and CARRIED by roll call vote.

2. Work Plan Fiscal Year 2025/26

Action: Motion to adopt Minute Order 2025-16 approving the Parks and Community Services Commission Work Plan for Fiscal Year 2025/26 adding municipal code updates as needed made by Councilmember David Oro, seconded by Vice Mayor Mark Joseph, and CARRIED by roll call vote.
