Subject: Orangewood Addendum Revisions Memorandum
The intent of this Memorandum is to clarify slight modifications to the Orangewood Avenue Improvements Addendum No. 9 to EIR No. 339, adopted by the Anaheim City Council on December 7, 2021 ( 2021 Addendum) . As part of the proposed bridge widening, the Basis of Design Report (BOD) has been updated, as design of the proposed bridge continues. The BOD report was appended to the 2021 Addendum. As such, the 2021 Addendum has been updated to reflect the most current version of the BOD Report (revisions dated March 2022).
The revised BOD includes modifications to the proposed method of scour protection. Such methods have been considered as part of the Addendum. These changes do not result in changes to the analysis presented in the Addendum. The revised Addendum includes the updated Appendix D, Basis of Design Report, as well as updates to the text regarding the date of the report (pages 1-10 and 3-57) and the scour depth (page 3-59). In addition, the proposed construction schedule as been updated accordingly (page 2-9).
These clarifications and modifications are not cons idered significant new information under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and would not result in any new or substantially greater significant impacts as compared to those identified in the adopted 2021 Addendum.
