RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Motion, approve recognitions to be delivered at a later date.
DISCUSSION:
At various times throughout the year, the City Council recognizes outstanding individuals, groups, and organizations for their extraordinary achievements and/or contributions to the Anaheim community. Council has the discretion to issue Proclamations, Declarations, and Certificates of Recognition to these deserving parties.
The following has been recommended to receive a Proclamation or Certificate of Recognition:
Proclamation: Recognizing United States Postal Service worker Esther Perez for providing lifesaving assistance to Anaheim resident, Terry Johnson, after he crashed his car while unconscious. (Requested by Council Member Faessel) IMPACT ON BUDGET:
There is no budgetary impact.
