location as well as hourly rates for additional services should they be necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. The bid value was determined by the frequency of service and the price for each site. Mr. Window Cleaning submitted the most cost effective bid and has performed these services successfully at several locations for the City, therefore, staff recommends the award of this bid accordingly.

The term of the agreement will be for a one-year base period with up to four one-year optional renewals. Unit pricing is fixed for the initial one-year base period and will be negotiated each year of the renewal periods, but may not exceed the change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the Los Angeles, Long Beach, and Anaheim, California areas for the preceding 12-month period.

IMPACT ON BUDGET:

Sufficient funds are available in the Public Works Department’s Fiscal Year 2022/23 Facilities Fund budget. Funding for subsequent years will be subject to Council’s approval of budget appropriations.

Respectfully submitted, Concurred by,
Barrick L. Bartlett Rudy Emami
