JURY REPORT, “THE BIG A LACK OF TRANSPARENCY”

ACTION:
That the City Council, by Motion, approve the attached response to the 2021-2022 Orange County Grand Jury Report, “ The Big A Lack of Transparency,” and direct the City Manager to execute a letter and forward the response to the Presiding Judge of the Orange County Court and the Orange County Grand Jury.
DISCUSSION:
The Orange County Grand Jury recently issued a report, “The Big A Lack of Transparency.” The report focuses on the public process for the former proposed sale of the Angel Stadium of Anaheim site to SRB Management. The report makes four findings and three recommendations and the response to those are attached for review.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
There is no impact on the City’s budget.
