RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Motion, approve a recognition to be delivered at a later date.
DISCUSSION:
At various times throughout the year, the City Council recognizes outstanding individuals, groups, and organizations for their extraordinary achievements and/or contributions to the Anaheim community or commemorates the remembrance of significant events. Council has the discretion to issue Proclamations, Declarations, and Certificates of Recognition for the aforementioned reasons.
The following has been recommended to receive a Proclamation:
Proclamation: Recognizing September 11, 2022 as Patriot Day in remembrance of September 11, 2001. (Requested by Staff)
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
There is no budgetary impact.
