Sport tile for recreational use. This would be put down over the existing floor but would not be nailed. glued or in any other way affixed permanently to the floor.
The City of Anaheim is requiring that a two mm rubber overlay be installed between the existing flooring and the sports tile flooring.
The City of Anaheim must approve materials and installation dates prior to installation. Installation of flooring must be completed during the designated time frames to ensure that other user groups are not impacted by installation.
Temporary GOALS facility equipment may include:
Rink enclosure. A self-supporting rink system with plastic "boards" and netting/Plexiglas topping is expected to be acquired. Such a portable system will enable indoor recreation activities such as roller hockey, ringette hockey, polo hockey or even speed soccer.
Miscellaneous. Some in-line skates, sticks, and other related sports equipment may be temporarily used on-site. This equipment will enable users who do not own or cannot afford to purchase equipment the opportunity to enjoy recreational opportunities with GOALS. As with our hockey use at Disney ICE it is anticipated that this equipment will be brought over for use on an as needed basis and returned to GOALS headquarters ( 1170 La Palma Park Way) following the particular activity and use. 1 2
