A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CHANGING THE NAME OF
PHOENIX CLUB DRIVE TO RIVER ROAD
(DEV2020-00125)
WHEREAS, Section 34091.1 of the Government Code authorizes the legislative body of a City to adopt or change the name of a City street; and
WHEREAS, Section 15.08.100 of the Anaheim Municipal Code permits the City Council to change the name of a street of the changed name conforms with the provisions of Chapter 15.08 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and the Address and Street Name Master Plan of the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the renaming of Phoenix Club Drive is hereby determined to conform to Chapter 15.08 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and the Address and Street Name Master Plan of the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, this resolution is proposed in conjunction with and is a component of the entitlement of the ocV!BE development, which consists of, among other things, General Plan Amendment No. 2020-00532, Miscellaneous Case No. 2020-00739, Reclassification No. 2020- 00333, Zoning Code Amendment No. 2020-00174, Miscellaneous Case No. 2020-00751, Development Agreement No. 2020-00004, Final Site Plan No. 2020-00004, Final Site Plan No. 2020-00005, Final Site Plan No. 2020-00006, Final Site Plan No. 2020-00007, Final Site Plan No. 2020-00008, amendment to Conditional Use Permit No. 2010-05492, Conditional Use Permit, Minor Conditional Use Permit, and Tentative Tract Map No. 19153 (together "Proposed Project"); and
WHEREAS, the Proposed Project is proposed to be constructed in phases with the first phase including the new construction of River Road which is proposed to connect Katella Avenue to the existing Phoenix Club Drive; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Phoenix Club Drive, as shown on Exhibit A attached hereto, is hereby ordered changed to River Road from the Southern Pacific Railroad to Ball Road, upon completion of new River Road and all improvements identified along River Road between Katella Avenue and Ball Road including those improvements at the intersections of Ball Road and Katella Avenue, as identified in the Proposed Project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the ocV!BE property owner/developer shall replace all necessary signage including, but not limited to, street name signs and internally illuminated street name signs associated with and necessary for the street name change, to the satisfaction of the City Engineer.
