RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Resolution, approve destruction of certain records more than two years old in the City Attorney’s office in accordance with the approved Records Retention Schedule.
DISCUSSION:
In accordance with the City Attorney’s Records Retention Schedule previously approved by the City Council, certain city records correctly retained in the prosecution and civil division, as described on Exhibit A of the attached resolution, are scheduled and approved for destruction.
IMPACT ON THE BUDGET:
Sufficient funds are included in the City Attorney Department’s FY 2022/23 General Fund budget.
