SELECTION COMMITTEE MEETING

RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council nominate and designate a representative for the City Selection Committee meeting to be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022.
DISCUSSION:
The City Selection Committee is scheduled to have a meeting on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. During this meeting, the City Selection Committee will be making appointments to several Boards, Commissions, and agencies required by law, i.e. Orange County Local Agency Formation Commission, Orange County Transportation Authority Board of Directors, Orange County Human Relations Commission, City Engineers Flood Control Advisory Committee, Senior Citizens Advisory Council, and City Engineers Flood Control Advisory Committee.
Subsequently, the newly elected Mayor will serve as the City’s representative for future City Selection Committee meetings.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
Appointment to the City Selection Committee has no budgetary impact.
