RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Resolution, amend Exhibit A of Resolution No. 2022-123 which establishes dates and time of regular Council meetings for calendar year 2023 [rescheduling the regular meeting of March 21 to March 28, 2023].
DISCUSSION:
Near the close of each calendar year, City Council approves a council meeting calendar for the upcoming calendar year. City Charter Section 506 provides that the City Council shall hold regular meetings at least twice each month at such times as fixed by resolution.
At the November 1, 2022 meeting, the City Council approved Resolution No. 2022-123, which established the days and times of regular meetings of the City Council. At the December 20, 2022 meeting, City Council Member Natalie Meeks requested an amendment to the Council’s regular meeting calendar. Exhibit A has been amended to cancel and reschedule the March 21 meeting to March 28, 2023.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
There is no budgetary impact.
