ACTION:
That the City Council, by Resolution, declare its support of the Iranian-American Community and condemn the violence perpetrated by the government of Iran against its people.
DISCUSSION:
At the request of Mayor Pro Tem Rubalcava, made at the January 24, 2023 Council meeting, attached for approval is a resolution supporting the Iranian-American Community and condemning of the government of Iran for violence perpetrated against its people.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
There is no budgetary impact.
