The Public Works Department, ARMD/ROW Program Division, is tasked with maintaining the 388 vertical street banners that are situated at designated locations within the Anaheim Resort District. These banners are placed to highlight holidays and the events occurring in this area. The bid was based on services required to fabricate banners, remove the existing banners, and install the newly fabricated banners, which will occur 4-6 times per year.

The term of the agreement will be for a one-year base period with up to four one-year optional renewals. Unit pricing is fixed for the initial one-year base period and will be negotiated each year of the renewal periods but may not exceed the change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the Los Angeles, Long Beach, and Anaheim, California areas for the preceding 12-month period.

IMPACT ON BUDGET:

Sufficient funds are available in the Public Works Department’s Fiscal Year 2022/23 Operations budget from restricted Resort Maintenance District funds. Funding for subsequent years will be subject to Council’s approval of budget appropriations.

Respectfully submitted, Concurred by,
Barrick L. Bartlett Rudy Emami
Purchasing Agent Public Works Director
