RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Motion, approve recognitions to be delivered at a later date.
DISCUSSION:
At various times throughout the year, the City Council recognizes outstanding individuals, groups, and organizations for their extraordinary achievements and/or contributions to the Anaheim community. Council has the discretion to issue Proclamations, Declarations, and Certificates of Recognition to these deserving parties.
The following has been recommended to receive a Proclamation or Certificate of Recognition:
Proclamation: Recognizing June 2 – 4, 2023 as National Gun Violence Awareness Day and Wear Orange Weekend. (Requested by Council Member Leon) Recognition: Recognizing El Pollo Fino on their 40th year of doing business. (Requested by Mayor Pro Tem Rubalcava)
Recognition: Recognizing Anaheim Fullerton Towing on their 65th year of doing business. (Requested by Mayor Pro Tem Rubalcava)
Recognition: Recognizing Reborn Cabinets, Inc. on their 40th year of doing business. (Requested by Council Member Faessel)
