In the event that a claim or other legal action is filed against ANAHEIM, and if ANAHEIM, in its good faith opinion, believes it may have coverage under any of the insurance required herein, then ANAHEIM has the right to demand, and to receive within a reasonable time period, copies of the insurance policies related to such required insurance; provided, however, that this provision shall not apply if the parties agree that CONSULTANT shall fully defend, hold harmless, and indemnify ANAHEIM against any such claim or other legal action.
In addition to other remedies ANAHEIM may have if CONSULTANT fails to provide or maintain any insurance policies or policy endorsements to the extent and within the time herein required, ANAHEIM may, at its sole option:
Order CONSULTANT to stop work under this Agreement and/or withhold any payment(s) that become due to CONSULTANT hereunder until CONSULTANT demonstrates compliance with the requirements hereof;
Terminate this Agreement.
21 Exercise of any of the above remedies, however, is an alternative to other remedies ANAHEIM may have and is not the exclusive remedy for CONSULTANT’S failure to maintain insurance or secure appropriate endorsements.
Nothing herein contained shall be construed in any way as limiting the extent that an CONSULTANT may be held responsible for payments of damages to persons or property resulting from CONSULTANT’S, (or CONSULTANT’S AGENT or SUB-AGENT, if any) performance of the work covered under this Agreement.
In the event CONSULTANT hires other persons or firms to perform some of the work related to this Agreement, CONSULTANT shall ensure (i) that the acts or omissions of such persons or firms are covered under the above-referenced liability insurance, or (ii) that such firms maintain insurance equal to or better than, and subject to the same limits, terms and conditions as, the insurance required of CONSULTANT under this Agreement (except for firms that are not performing professional services— such firms shall not be required to carry the above-referenced professional liability insurance); and in either instance, CONSULTANT shall provide, or cause to be provided, evidence of such insurance coverage, reasonably acceptable to ANAHEIM.
ANAHEIM’S Risk Manager is hereby authorized to amend the requirements set forth herein in the event that such reduction is in ANAHEIM’S best interest.
22 Appendix III – Standard Indemnification Provision
The following represents the City’s standard language for the indemnification, defense and hold harmless provisions in its contracts. With very few exceptions, the language in the final Agreement will be as shown here. If a proposer has any specific concerns regarding any of the City’s indemnification language that would render the proposer unable or unwilling to enter into an Agreement with the City, proposer shall identify these concerns in the proposal. Deviations from the City’s standard language may be considered by City in its evaluation of the responsiveness of a proposal.
[Note: Proposer should also be aware it is the City’s practice not to enter into Agreements that contain restrictive limitation of liability language or provisions. This includes language and provisions seeking to limit or restrict liability based on cost of services performed or goods provided.]
INDEMNIFICATION
INDEMNIFICATION
As respects acts, errors or omissions in the performance of professional services, CONSULTANT agrees to indemnify and hold harmless ANAHEIM, its officials, officers, and employees from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, defense costs, or liability, of any kind or nature, arising out of the negligent acts, errors or omissions of the CONSULTANT or any SUB-AGENT in the performance of professional services under this Agreement, except those matters arising out of the sole negligence or willful misconduct of ANAHEIM.
As respects all acts, errors or omissions that do not arise directly out of the performance of professional services, including but not limited to those acts, errors or omissions typically covered by general and automobile liability insurance, CONSULTANT agrees to indemnify, defend (at ANAHEIM'S option), and hold harmless ANAHEIM, its officials, officers, employees, agents, and representatives from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, defense costs, or liability, of any kind or nature (collectively referred to hereinafter as “Claims”), arising out of or in connection with CONSULTANT’S (or CONSULTANT'S AGENT or SUB-AGENT, if any) acts, errors, omissions, or work, relative to this Agreement; except for those Claims that arise out of the sole negligence or willful misconduct of ANAHEIM.
The obligations set forth in this indemnification provision (i) shall be in effect without regard to whether or not ANAHEIM, CONSULTANT, or any other person maintains, or fails to maintain, insurance coverage, or a self-insurance program, for any such Claims; and (ii) shall survive the termination of this Agreement.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Jeff Bryne
Anaheim Convention Center
Dear Jeff:
Good day! S4 Global Solutions dba Hospitality Services Group (HSG) hereinafter referred to as “HSG” is a company that provides top quality candidates to businesses, organizations and facilities, providing critical human capital management services in support of our clients' mission.
With over 25 years of institutional experience in staffing, direct hire and outsourced turnkey services across the United States, HSG has ever been financially stable and have been in business of providing staffing services for more than Five (5) years.
Human Capital Management is difficult, complex and nuanced, while regulations are always evolving.
This makes for a very difficult environment in which to recruit the best talent possible. HSG takes this burden on behalf of our clients, allowing them to focus on their other mission essential work streams.
The increased uncertainty in the economy makes it difficult to make permanent hiring decisions. HSG recognizes these challenges, providing a temporary solution with the highest possible quality candidate for each role, helping de-risk our clients' budgets.
We are committed to our clients' success, which means understanding and addressing their needs. That drives how we define our objectives as a team and creates our standards for success, which ensures we maintain the highest level of quality. Other HCM service providers focus on driving volume to the detriment of quality of candidate and service.
Our Recruiters are our frontline forces, who are extremely knowledgeable and highly skilled at sourcing the right talent for our clients' needs. Their vast experience operating in a broad range of industries gives our recruiters an edge when talking with prospective candidates. First and foremost, our recruiters understand how to utilize the tools at their disposal to target the right geographies and prospective talent pools to identify the right candidates. This includes leveraging technology in addition to grassroots recruiting campaigns focused on job fairs, schools, places of worship and other areas where groups convene. Our recruiters treat each of the candidates with respect, getting to know them, knowing what questions to ask based on positions they are recruiting for, and creating strong touchpoints, which drives successful hires with loyal employees.
We assess and prescreen our candidates based on the clients' requirements and qualifications. We make sure that each candidate passes our initial screening through their communication skills, ability to answer general questions about prior experience, knowledge of the job that they are applying for, and their willingness to work.
We utilize EZ Screen, which provides us with a large menu of background check options from federal, state and local levels to include social security mismatch, federal criminal database and county criminal database (as allowed by federal, state and local law). Also allows us to order 5-panel and 10-panel drug tests on as needed basis. EZ Screen software provides us with ease of use and transparency throughout the background check due diligence process - with automated alerts to our internal team so it saves us time to check the new hire's background record. Below is the list of all the EZ Screen backgroun d checks that can be utilized:
▪ Nationwide Criminal Check
▪ Statewide Criminal Check
▪ County Criminal Check
▪ Federal Criminal Check
▪ Federal Civil Check
▪ Motor Vehicle Report
▪ Credit Reports
▪ Social Security Number Trace/Past Address History
▪ Professional License Verification
▪ Education Verification
▪ Employment Verification
▪ Eviction Reports
▪ Drug Screening
Our team takes pride in providing excellent customer support by delegating key points of contact per department. We have personnel dedicated to each client across our departments (recruiting, scheduling, accounting and HR). These personnel handle various aspects of the customer experience throughout the project lifecycle. Client has a contact roster that is provided to them in the client onboarding packet.
The client onboarding packet provides other useful information, such as request forms, billing information requests and important details. Client understands who to contact in what department for which reasons. Understanding who to contact for what reasons, helps eliminate time spent figuring out who to call or email.
Our typical working hours are from 7am to 5pm MST. Staff are on call for afterhours issues or emergencies.
All communication is responded to within 2hrs Mondays to Fridays and within 4hrs on a weekend. We offset our corporate staff’s work schedules to cover operations 7 days a week, with built -in redundancy, ensuring there’s not just one person available to respond to client demands.
Clients have the key leaders direct phone numbers for any emergency situations that may arise or for direct feedback regarding performance.
Overall, our company guarantees to create a workplace environment that is equitable, encouraging and professionally stimulating. With your support, we can provide top-notch services to the guests of the Anaheim Convention Center and together, we can work towards greater success and prosperity.
We thank you in advance for this opportunity, and we look forward to doing business with you soon.
Sincerely,
Alexander Biljic
