RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council, by Motion, approve recognitions to be delivered at a later date.
DISCUSSION:
At various times throughout the year, the City Council recognizes outstanding individuals, groups, and organizations for their extraordinary achievements and/or contributions to the Anaheim community. Council has the discretion to issue Proclamations, Declarations, and Certificates of Recognition to these deserving parties.
The following have been recommended to receive a Proclamation or Certificate of Recognition:
Recognition: Recognizing Jillian Albayati for her achievements on the Anaheim High School baseball team. (Requested by Mayor Pro Tem Rubalcava) Recognition: Recognizing Mama Cozza’s Italian Restaurant on the occasion of the restaurant’s 58th anniversary. (Requested by Council Member Leon) Recognition: Recognizing the month of September 2023 as Service Club Month. (Requested by Council Member Meeks)
