Acceptance of Bid for Purchase of Pharmaceutical Supplies July 18, 2023
The term of the agreement will be for a one-year period with up to four one-year optional renewals. There is no guarantee, nor implied commitment, to purchase a specific quantity for the duration of the contract. Pricing for the renewal periods shall be negotiated each year with any increases not-to-exceed the change in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Prescription Drugs for the preceding 12-month period. Due to the fluctuation in pharmaceutical pricing if during the term of the agreement, there is a manufacture’s price increase the City at its discretion may make exceptions and offer equitable price adjustments.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
Sufficient funds have been allocated in the Anaheim Fire and Rescue Department Fiscal Year 2023/24 budget. Funding for subsequent years will be subject to Council’s approval of budget appropriations.
