A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ADOPTING
CHANGES TO THE PERSONNEL RULES FOR
NON-REPRESENTED FULL-TIME AND PART-
TIME EMPLOYEES TO INCLUDE CHANGES
TO COMPENSATION FOR NON-
REPRESENTED MANAGEMENT AND FULL-
TIME HOURLY CLASSIFICATIONS AND
REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 2023-078
WHEREAS, terms and conditions of employment for employees serving in classifications that are not represented by a recognized bargaining unit are set forth in the Personnel Rules Covering Non-Represented Full-Time and Part-Time Employees (Personnel Rules) last updated in its entirety by City Council Resolution No. 2023-078; and WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report dated September 26, 2023, to amend the Personnel Rules to changes compensation for Non- Represented Management classifications and the Full-Time Hourly classification; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that establishing new compensation rules for Non-Represented Management and Full-Time Hourly classifications by way of adoption of amended Personnel Rules and modified rates of compensation is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as follows:
SECTION 1.
The Personnel Rules Covering Non-Represented Full-Time and Part-Time Employees, as set forth in the document attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein, be and the same is hereby adopted and that the effective date of such Personnel Rules Covering Non-Represented Full-Time and Part-Time Employees shall be September 29, 2023.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Human Resources Director shall be delegated the authority to publish the authorized salary schedule in Personnel Rules and Policies Covering Non-Represented Full-Time and Part-Time Employees in any format meeting the requirements of the California Code of Regulations Section 570.5.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 2023-078 be repealed effective September 29, 2023.
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution.
