REQUESTED ACTION:
That the City Council, by Resolution, amend Exhibit A of Resolution No. 2023-077 setting the dates and times of regular Council meetings for calendar year 2023 [rescheduling the regular meeting of December 19 to December 12, 2023; and potentially adding additional meeting dates].
DISCUSSION:
Near the close of each calendar year, City Council approves a council meeting calendar for the upcoming calendar year. City Charter Section 506 provides that the City Council shall hold regular meetings at least twice each month at such times as fixed by resolution.
Mayor Ashleigh Aitken has requested an amendment to the previously approved City Council regular meeting calendar. Exhibit A has been amended to cancel and reschedule the December 19 to December 12, 2023.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
There is no budgetary impact.
