RECOMMENDATION:
That the Anaheim Public Financing Authority, by Resolution, establish the dates and times of the regular Authority meetings for calendar year 2024.
DISCUSSION:
Section 2.04 of Article II of the Joint Powers Agreement of the Anaheim Public Financing Authority (APFA) provides that the Financing Authority shall establish the days for regular meetings by resolution.
The proposed resolution establishes the dates and times for regular Public Financing Authority meetings for calendar year 2024, consistent with the City Council meeting calendar. Commencement time of meetings will remain at 5:00 p.m. In the event the proposed resolution is not adopted, regular meetings of the Financing Authority shall be the first and third Tuesday of each month, excluding holidays, until a resolution is adopted.
The governing body has the authority to set, cancel or reschedule any regular meeting by an affirmative vote of at least a majority of the Authority.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
There is no budgetary impact.
